Reading Books

Brayden and T.K. love reading books together. Right now they are reading "Just In Case You Ever Wonder" by Max Lucado, such a sweet book. I want to share with you the part they are on. Brayden: "Then one morning he went poopy in his pants then his head and then went peepee and poopy and stinky and poopy!" T.K.: "Hahahaha. Heehee!"

Now they are on the REALLY exciting bit- "Poopy and poopy (heehee) and peepee and doodie and poopy, poopy, poopy."

Man I wish they had books like that when I was growing up. As you can see they are loving the poopy and doodie words today. Do I tell them no? They aren't calling anyone poopy or doodie. I know some people aren't even allowed to say "fart" I just don't know what else you would call it. Am I being to easy on them? I guess I just see it as they could say MUCH worse things than poopy and doodie or even (heaven forbid) FART!

I love it! I don't let the kids use such words at the dinner table, or in reference to people, but if they are just saying it to say it. I think its kinda funny too!

Cute boys!

Ok I am totally laughing out loud! My girls actually do the same thing they will be sitting in the tub and they will just be saying poopoo, peepee and on and on and it is hard not to laugh but I usually get mad and tell them it isn't polite for girls to talk like that.
