Day Girls!

A couple weeks ago I went to the yearly get together for the Day women (all the women on the Day line of the family). It's always so much fun and this year was no exception. It's quite an event. For those of you who are not familiar there are usually 60-80 women who attend.
The first night is always dinner together. We do a fun little activity to ring in the weekend. This year we all created a jingle about why we come to Day Girls'. Our song was put to Give me a Break, break me off a piece of that kit kat bar. Our words were "Give me a break, give me a break give me a break from our 18 kids. Get me away, get me away, leave 'em at home with those lazy men!" We ended with a big cheer followed by the dead arm.

One of my other favorites was "I am a Day!" set to "YMCA".

The next day was shopping. Needless to say we had a blast. Here is photographic proof of the madness and over spending.


After we spent the whole day shopping we went to dinner at a Brazilian steak house. So good and the waiters weren't hard on the eyes if you get my drift ;)


After dinner we headed out to the Tuachan for Footloose, starring Thayne Jasperson (So You Think You Can Dance Finalist). I thought it was amazing. The theater itself was made out of the red rock canyon we were in. It was such a fun show! We got to meet the cast after the show.


My favorite was Willard, the cowboy who couldn't dance to save his life. He was so awesome, he could shake it too!


I had so much fun. It was so laid back and easy going. Can't wait till next year!
