Santa

Last night we went to see some Christmas lights and Santa. The lights were amazing! The set up is pretty nice, you can just drive around the displays in your car. It was so great not to have to worry about bundling up and pushing a stroller and listening to complaints about being cold and tired of walking and the blah, blah. While we were there we also saw a snowflake ice sculpture and two of Santa's reindeer.

We did get some of the complaining while in line to see Santa. It was a pretty long wait but it could have been worse. While we were in line we practiced what we would say when we got to talk to him. T.K. and Brayden both had their lines nailed. Kian... not so much, but the whole time in line he was excited to see Santa. Oh that story changed right quick when it was time.

Kian would have nothing to do with Santa, which is why I'm in the picture. T.K. did great. He told Santa he wanted a Luke Skywalker watch (if anyone knows if such a thing exists will you please pass that info on to Santa?) Brayden on the other hand was so star struck he was paralyzed. It was just like the scene in "A Christmas Story". When Santa would turn to talk to him his eyes would get huge it was like he was thinking "Oh my gosh! He's talking to ME!" Cutest thing! What a great night!
