Happy Anniversary/Valentines Day

(yes I know I look really dumb in this picture, I'm just star struck:)

Last night Steve and I went out to celebrate our anniversary of being sealed 4 years ago. It just so happened to be Valentines weekend too. We went to Cedars of Lebanon. The food was great and we were able to see one of our friends belly dance. In her first dance she came around and threw her drape right at Steve. Here he is with his prize.



It is a custom to tip the dancer. Isn't she gorgeous!



Christina is amazing and even more amazing cause she got Steve up to dance!



Of course it was an adventurous night we got stuck in traffic on the way there and on the way home we got stopped by a train that ended up blocking the crossing, we had to back up and go the wrong way... in the industrial part of SLC, super safe feeling. It was so fun though. It was great to be able to talk to my husband and not have the TV's and other distractions that are at most other restaurants.


Just a side note: Christina is so inspiring. We were talking to her about her family. They are going through some pretty heavy stuff. When we were leaving she said "Life's good." I don't even know how she gets up in the morning. She's my new hero! Thanks for opening my eyes Christina:)
