Update and Sand in the Underpants

I took Brayden to the Doctor yesterday. Of course there was nothing he could do. It couldn't just be an ear infection that is easily treated with antibiotics. No, no, instead he sent me on my way with a "good luck" and advice to keep Motrin in his system, gee thanks a lot!

This morning he seems to be his old self again. He is in the living room singing "Book of Mormon Stories" with T.K. They are both excited for the trip. We'll see how exciting it really is when we are crossing the vast nothingness of the Wyoming plains.

Steve is going for another Doc. visit today for his kidney stone, who knows what will happen with Ethel.

Here's some sand in my underpants though. Steve is notorious for getting lost and getting pissed about it. I can understand that. Which is why we start mapping things out before we've even decided where we're going. MapQuest in all of it's glory has lovingly mapped out our trip from door to door. Steve, however has been bugging me for about two weeks now to get the navigation application on his phone, even though we don't need it. We had it once with our other carrier and it was a nightmare! He asked me again today! Why do husbands insist on getting unnecessary things that cost insane amounts of money that they won't use?!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Haha! I love that you guys are naming Steve's kidney stones. :) Tell him "good luck" with Ethel. Hopefully, there isn't a Frank!

Maybe Steve's bored and needs a new toy to play with. You know how guys are. Anyway, that is crazy about the kidney stones. I feel bad for him. Ouch. Wait, no I don't. He needs to appreciate the pain of childbirth, right? Isn't that the same kind of pain?

Somehow, I just can't sympathize with kidney stones. Try labor, buddy, then we can talk. And I would like to add that it may not be a hubby trait to buy things we don't need. Toby doesn't do that. It might be a Day thing though, because I do it ALL THE TIME (hence the 2 pair of Paris Hilton shoes Santa is leaving under my tree next month - they're the same exact shoes but one pair is pink and the other is black with 4.5 inch heels - LOVe THEM)
