Steve still has his kidney stone in tow. We have decided to name all of his stones like they name hurricanes. Since this is his 5th we are on 'E' and it's a girl, Ethel. This is only part of the muggy weather. Since Brayden got sick last week I pulled out all the stops and put our house on lock-down. No one in or out, except for Steve cause he has to make money to fund our fun during lock-down. So since Monday I have been in the house with my three boys, no breaks. I have tried to do fun things but after three days you're all out of ideas and patience.
I thought keeping us all in would keep us from getting sick and having a horrible trip. Well.... Brayden now has a fever and said his ear hurts so where do I have to take him? That's right the good 'ol germ factory A.K.A the Doctor's office. So basically I have secluded myself for a week straight for no reason! Those of you who know me, even a little, know that I love to socialize, probably too much. I haven't been able to teach my Pilates class in a week, it's pretty much driving me crazy! The thought that I could have been out of the house and it wouldn't have made a lick of difference infuriates me.
The end is in sight. We have two fun filled days planned before we take off. Monday is cleaning the car day and packing the suitcases day. Tuesday is packing the car and food day, that night we will begin the journey. So things are somewhat looking up. However, the jury is still out on something good from the dental work (and bills) looming in our future. I am looking forward to drowning my sorrows in turkey and gravy and mashed potatoes, and rolls, and stuffing, and.....

Sounds like Steve brought something back to the house from work, but no one had developed any defenses for it yet since no one had been out.
(I play a doctor on TV.)
just joking. No, really, quarantining doesn't really work, obviously. That's too bad, but good to know.
I always wash everything with hot water and lysol every bare surface in my house after ahy of us has been sick. It doesn't ever help, but it makes me feel better so I keep doing it. Hope you're all on the mend and have a good trip!
Well we have missed having you teach our Pilates class too. But what a way to wash all your worries away... a good thanksgiving feast!
