Oh Mama!

My Mother's day was awesome. It was simple and that's how I like it. When T.K. got home from school on Thursday he handed me a pink sheet of paper with his hand print and a poem on one side, and a little interview on the other side. They were questions about his mom and he had to answer them. Here is what it said:

Q: What is your mom's favorite color?
A: Pink (good job!)

Q: What is your mom's favorite song?
A: Popcorn Popping (I don't know about favorite but it's a great song!)

Q: What is your mom's favorite movie?
A: A lot of movies (yeah that's true too)

Q: What does your mom like to eat?
A: Noodles (I just chuckled at this one, I've never met a noodle that I didn't like)

Q: What does your mom like to do with you?
A: Play Lego Star Wars

Q: How old is your mom?
A: 20 (that's my boy!)

Q: What kind of car does your mom drive?
A: The white one.

Q: What does your mom say to you a lot? (I was a little nervous on this one)
A: A lot of cute things (WHEW!)

Q: What do you love the most about your mom?
A: I like her hair.

I just loved this I love the honesty of a child. Brayden made me a little flower at school. On Mother's Day all the boys decorated a wall in our dining room with pictures they drew. It was the best!

My boys both did similar things, with brutally honest answers. Out of the mouth of babes, right? Glad you had a good mother's day!
