The Punkin Patch

Last week we went to the "punkin patch" to pick out our Halloween pumpkins. The kids were so excited. This is a neighbor's backyard. Every year they plant a pumpkin patch and open it to the neighborhood. They give us the pumpkins for free if we make a donation to the Perpetual Education Fund. There is a little box when you go in so you can deposit your donation. We were totally on board with that.

We had to be very careful to get just the right ones.

Brayden looked around for about 20 minutes looking for a small one. I think he found it. He was so happy. Come to think of it though I don't thing I've seen that little pumpkin since that day, it just may have been too small.
Awwe, look what I found!

I'll take this one! Don't you just want to eat those cheeks?!

Very cute pics! It was weird going to the pumpkin patch here with 100 degree weather. It just wasn't the same without the fall weather. I had to laugh at your comment of me being a patient person to put up with our circumstances. I read it last night at the end of a very non-patient day full of me yelling at the kids. Sadie even told me yesterday she was going to start calling me "stranger" since I was being so grumpy. So in response...I'm just like any other woman trying to survive without her husband! Hope all is well with you guys...love ya!
