Trick or Treat!

We didn't get many pictures this year, we were too busy partying. Our street has to be the funnest place ever on Halloween night. The weather was perfect and the sidewalks were packed! We didn't bother to cook our traditional chili because we knew there would be plenty of goodies to go around. Here are some of the things we enjoyed: Pizza, yes there is a family who makes wood oven pizzas and they cranked out about 100 to share with the neighbors, so good! Homemade doughnuts, our bishop set up camp in his garage and made them right there. Hotdogs, one of the coolest families on the block set up their grill and filled a bucket with Capri Suns, Scooby was serving the hot dogs and to get one in your bun you had to say "Dog me!" Those were the biggest treats, not to mention the candy, and cans of soda, pretzles, and baby carrots! It was the greatest Halloween ever!

The funniest thing was that the kids didn't want to scarf their treats right away. They would get their pizza or their hotdog and put it in their  candy bucket. I ended up eating Kian's pizza and half his doughnut. Isn't he adorable?! I hope every one had as great a Halloween as we did.

Now... Who's ready for Turkey Day?!

Our neighbors do similar things. We always has a family that hands out hot chocolate to the adults, and some other families do dinner-type items as well! So fun!!!
