Potty Time

The time has come! Kian is potty trained, yes at only 2 1/2 he's no longer in diapers! My first break in 7 years! I have no diapers to change. Funny thing though, my house smells like pee more than it ever did before and I swear that kid poops more now than before! All this aside I am thrilled. I have already spent double what the next two packs of diapers would have cost, just in celebration... of course the money was spent on me not Kian, I guess that's kind of backwards, oh well!

Kian basically potty trained himself we really have had minimal accidents but it's more the situation where I have to stay on top of it. If it's been 2 hours and he hasn't gone I had better get him headed that way or I'll have some laundry to do. So I guess we should be celebrating my being trained to take Kian to the potty, so yeah I was right spending the diaper money on me! I knew if I tried hard enough I could justify it *wink*.

So if we're in a store and he grabs his parts I know I'm in trouble. Like last week we decided to have our family pictures. We went to Steve's aunt and uncle's house. It's so beautiful! It's a historic landmark with a main house and two barns with a couple fields. Just perfect. In the back yard there is a rope swing and a play house. I got there a little before Steve and the photographer (Casey Hyer). Aunt Louann came out to say hello and we were just chatting when from behind me I hear, "Mommy I go pee pee, mommy, I go pee pee!"

Here he comes running full speed... with a wet crotch. Oh don't worry we did our pictures anyway, we just had to get a little creative with hiding the wetness. Yay for potty time.

Wow, now I feel like a complete failure. Sam is a little over 3 and refuses to potty train. Wanna take him and potty train him for me...I'll even pay. ;)
